Thea Meulenberg Casting is a Dutch, Amsterdam based international casting agency with 42 years’ experience. This casting agency casts actors and commercial models, children, families, couples, specials, twins and 'real people'. For commercials, films, content, social media, video clips, and photography at home and abroad.

How it all started

Casting director Thea Meulenberg founded the casting agency Thea Meulenberg Casting in 1980. 

Much to our sorrow, Thea died in 2018. Thea Meulenberg Casting is now run by her son Laurens Meulenberg and his wife Sevina Stapert-Meulenberg. The couple is grateful that they have the opportunity to continue their mother’s life's work and the family business.

It won't surprise you that Laurens and Sevina met on set. Laurens grew up with the casting agency and worked as a child model. After that he went into the world of film, behind the lens as a cameraman. He has worked with models and actors for films and TV commercials for more than 25 years. 

Sevina Stapert-Meulenberg hails from a marketing-communication background and has worked for several advertising agencies, including her own advertising agency. Later she worked on the customer side of things for international organizations and was held responsible for the customer’s interests on photo and film sets in The Netherlands and abroad.

The knowledge, experience on set, and love for the profession to create from both Laurens and Sevina is to your benefit.
